The PADI Seal Team is especially designed for young scuba divers, looking for action-packed fun. The course is packed with exciting activities (AquaMissions), which gives kids an even better understanding of diving and the underwater world. After a few short theory lessons, kids will get the chance to make new discoveries, learn new skills and experience wonderful adventures underwater, such as wreck diving, navigation, buoyancy, environmental awareness and more.
To become a PADI Seal Team member, the young scuba divers will have to complete the first five of a total of fifteen AquaMissions, which covers basic scuba diving skills, such as breathing underwater, clearing a mask, recovering a regulator and swimming around experiencing the sensation of being weightless. Complete these AquaMissions and become a recognized PADI Seal Team Member. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but kids should be comfortable in the water. Parental approval is required.
To become a PADI Master Seal Team member, kids can go on to complete the other ten AquaMissions as well. These include adventures like creature identification, search and recovery diving, and wreck diving. Complete all of these and you’ll become a PADI Master Seal Team Member – joining an elite group of young scuba divers.
