PADI Deep Diver Specialty

The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course is designed for divers who want to safely explore deeper dive sites and experience the excitement and mystery of the deep underwater world. Diving beyond 18 meters / 60 feet opens the door to new environments, unique marine life, and fascinating underwater landscapes that are inaccessible on shallower dives.

During this course, you will learn the techniques, procedures, and safety considerations required for deep diving under the guidance of a professional PADI instructor. The training focuses on planning and conducting dives to depths of up to 40 meters / 130 feet while maintaining safety, awareness, and proper dive procedures.

Before the dives, students complete the theory through the PADI eLearning program or course materials. Your instructor will review important topics such as deep dive planning, gas management, buddy procedures, emergency considerations, and the effects of pressure and nitrogen at greater depths.

Throughout the course, you will practice deep diving techniques, improve your confidence underwater, and gain experience using specialized deep diving procedures and equipment. The course also introduces divers to depth related challenges while teaching how to safely manage them in real diving situations.

The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course is suitable for certified divers who are at least 15 years old and hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent certification from another recognized training organization.

After successfully completing the course, you will earn your PADI Deep Diver Specialty certification, allowing you to confidently and safely explore deeper dive sites around the world.
