PADI Junior Open Water Diver

During the PADI Junior Open Water course, young divers will gain a solid understanding of the basic principles of scuba diving in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

They will learn essential scuba skills, how to use basic scuba equipment including a dive computer and other dive accessories, and how to dive together with a certified dive buddy under professional supervision. Within 3 days, students will be introduced to both the theory and practical experience needed to become a responsible Junior Open Water Diver. During the course, they will complete at least 4 open water dives with their instructor.

The course starts with the PADI eLearning program, allowing students and parents to review the theory comfortably at home before arriving at the dive shop. At the dive center, instructors will answer any remaining questions and immediately apply the learned theory in the water. On the first day of diving, students will practice important scuba skills in shallow water. If there is enough time and air remaining after the training session, they will enjoy their very first real dive while exploring the underwater world, colorful tropical fish, and the exciting feeling of weightlessness underwater.

The second day focuses on practicing and improving the newly learned skills in an open water environment. During the dives, students will continue building confidence while enjoying the underwater world. Our experienced instructors are always ready to point out interesting marine life and make the experience both educational and unforgettable.

On the final day, students will complete their last open water dives while further developing their confidence and underwater skills. After successfully completing the course, they will earn their PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification. This certification allows young divers to dive with a certified adult buddy while exploring the underwater world around the globe.
