PADI Night Diver

If you’ve ever wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, the PADI Night Diver Specialty course offers a completely new way to experience the ocean. Familiar dive sites transform into mysterious and exciting environments as daylight fades and nocturnal marine life becomes active. Using your dive light, you will discover a whole new underwater world where colors, behavior, and marine activity change dramatically after dark.

During this course, you will learn the skills and procedures needed for safe night diving, including underwater communication, light handling techniques, navigation in low visibility, and buddy system procedures. You will also practice staying oriented in the dark while maintaining good buoyancy control and awareness throughout the dive.

Before the dives, you will complete the theory through PADI e-Learning or course materials. Your instructor will review key topics such as night diving safety, dive planning, equipment considerations, and how marine life behaves at night.

Throughout the training dives, you will gain confidence diving in low light conditions while experiencing the unique atmosphere of the underwater world at night. Each dive helps you become more comfortable using your dive light and adapting to a completely different diving environment.

The PADI Night Diver Specialty course is open to PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers or higher who are at least 12 years old.

After successfully completing the course, you will earn your PADI Night Diver Specialty certification and be able to safely explore the ocean after dark, opening the door to a whole new dimension of diving adventures.

• Duration: 2-3 nights, 3 dives
• Group Size: 4 divers per instructor
