Double Reef

Double reef is exactly what it seems, a beautiful double reef system located between Superior Producer and Small Harbour. 

Access to the site does require a short walk with the gear from the parking area, however it is well worth the effort. You will walk past a couple of important monuments on the way to the site, which are dedicated to remembering the island’s history and commemorating those who fought for freedom on the Island.

Once you have made it to the water you are rewarded by two distinct reef systems, separated by a sandy plateau. Crossing over the first reef, toward the second be on the look out for turtles, moray eels and schooling snappers. For experienced divers this can be turned into a drift dive ending at Small Harbour, or you can explore the shallower second reef, closer to the shore.
